Green tea contains natural plant chemicals called catechins which give you more energy and help you lose weight. You can get some benefit from drinking the tea but supplements have highly concentrated amounts which have proven weight loss benefits.
Green tea has been shown to improve your body fat composition by helping you burn off more energy, and in particular, it helps you to burn fat.
