Collection: Essential Amino Acids EAAS

Amino acids not only support muscle growth, they also improve workout performance, reduce fatigue and help speed recovery. Essential amino acids (EAAs) are all the amino acids your body needs to synthesise protein. They are called essential as our bodies can’t make them and we have to get them from diet and/or supplementation. They include: valine, leucine, isoleucine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, tryptophan, lysine and histadine. EAAs are very quickly absorbed straight into the blood stream and taken up by muscles and other tissues that need them.

Essential amino acids include the branched-chain amino acids, leucine, isoleucine and valine, which are a major component of muscle tissue. Take during a workout to improve energy levels, strength and endurance, or take during the day to help boost muscle synthesis.
