Originating in Ayurveda Medicine, Tribulus Terrestris is a year-round growing plant found in many countries, gaining popularity for its use as an aphrodisiac, with great success, as well as more recently in clinical research showing its benefits for increasing natural testosterone levels due to its stimulatory effect on Luteinising Hormone.
Fenugreek Seed
Fenugreek has shown great promise in increasing both free testosterone as well improving the release and utilisation of insulin, resulting in an enhanced effect on muscle growth and strength.
Aspartic Acid
Found naturally in the testes and the pituitary gland of the brain, Aspartic acid is known as a regulatory amino acid due to its direct effect on the stimulation and release of more testosterone.
Epimedium Sagittatum
More commonly known as horny goat weed, Epimedium Sagittatum, which has been linked to increased testosterone levels, potentially positive benefits for heart health and may improve cognitive function.
Important note for athletes: Tribulus terrestris and other testosterone boosters are classified as a Group D supplement by the Australian Institute of Sport and as “at high risk of contamination with substances that could lead to a positive drug test”. Not recommended for use by athletes.
